So what really happened with Artie Lange?
If you are a fan of the Howard Stern show and stand-up comedy in general, then I’m sure by now you heard that Artie Lange has been hospitalized. However, no concrete information has been released as to what the actual cause was. We can all assume it was drug related as he has had addictions in the past as well as present, yet he it is still listed with a undisclosed ailment.

Long time friend and stand-up comedian Colin Quinn found Artie Lange unconscious in his apartment with multiple stab wounds to his stomach. Soon after calling 9-1-1 an EMS team arrived and discovered that Artie consumed a deadly cocktail of prescription pills washed down with bleach. Upon consuming the pills and bleach he then repeatedly stabbed himself in the stomach in an apparent suicide attempt.
Artie Lange has openly admitted to using drugs throughout his adult life as well as suffering from depression but who knew he would take it this far?
