Music You Should Know: Band Of Horses

Band of Horses, previously known as Horses, is an American indie rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle by Ben Bridwell and Mat Brooke after the dissolution of their nearly ten-year run in northwest melancholic darlings Carissas Wierd.

They have been compared to the likes of My Morning Jacket as both use deep reverb on vocals. They are currently signed to Sub Pop Records and have released 2 full length albums:

• Everything All the Time (March 21, 2006
• Cease to Begin (October 9, 2007)
